So perhaps it’s not surprising that a federal-court brouhaha over the word white involves two bridal stores.
White of Dublin is suing the yet-to-open White Dress Co., also in Dublin, for using the word white in its name.
“The opening of the store, offering identical goods and services, is likely to cause consumer confusion,” said T. Earl LeVere of the law firm Ice Miller, which represents White of Dublin.
