Ice News Hijacking a parked Arriva Train in Stockholm is not a thought that would occur to most, and hopefully one that the now seriously injured cleaner will be loath to consider. There is question, however, as to whether the theft was intentional or accidental, with both sides clamoring to prove her as a thief, a fool, an accidental victim or some permutation thereof.
A woman suffered serious injuries on 15 January after she crashed a commuter train into a residential building in Stockholm. Reports said that the unidentified female had boarded the parked Arriva train from a depot outside the Swedish capital and drove it nearly a mile before derailing and smashing into an apartment building.
Police have not yet released the name of the woman, although she is reported to be a cleaner, born in 1990. She was taken to a local hospital following the incident and was initially facing charges of endangering the public, according to Stockholm police spokesman Lars Bystrom. Read More on icenews.is
