Savannah has been upping the ante with their Art of Great Fashion event with the usual silent auction and fashion show, but this year they are going all out with Italian Carnevale theme. Guests will be greeted by jesters and jugglers and there will also be featured 20 handcrafted masks to be modeled on the runway and auctioned off.

Invited behind the scenes for this year’s Art of Great Fashion event, we got a sneak preview of the fashion, art and entertainment in store.

The Telfair’s annual fundraising fashion event, benefitting the museum’s Lecture Series, will be even more fun and fanciful than before. This year’s event, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21, will be a complete extravaganza.

To honor the Uffizi exhibit – the collection of Italian masterworks from Baroque to Renaissance all part of the Uffizi Gallery of Florence’s permanent collection – the design team chose to theme the event after the Italian Carnevale. Then the team decided to shake things up a bit and choose yet another new venue for the show.
