Australian poker players will be attending one of the most exciting tournaments on the live poker circuit calendar when they sing up for the Brisbane Poker Championships next week.  The weekend event, which will kick off on Thursday the 13th, will feature a three day Main Event, with two Day 1 flight events.

The buy-in for the Brisbane Poker Championships Main Event is a reasonable $1,500, making it an attractive tournament for Oz poker players, considering the size of its prize pool.   Organizers believe that if the tournament manages to attract as many participants as they anticipate, a first prize for the winner of the Main Event could be in the region of $105,000.
