Rob Kaufman Set to start on November 4th, the beautiful city of Savannah will host the Concours d'Elegance, a car show likened to a dog show for enthused motorists. Expected to be a success despite the recent economic slump, the car festival is due to coincide with several other events, including the Hilton Island Motoring Festival.
The area’s annual classic car show will offer a look at the American automobile’s past and future.
The 11th Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance kicks off Friday and runs through Nov. 4 in Savannah and on Hilton Head.
“We got so many applications this year that we had to turn some people away, so you should expect some really top-notch collectors to be there,” said Lindsey Harrell, the event’s vice president of operations.
The festival begins Friday with the Savannah Speed Classic on Hutchinson Island, which gives spectators pit access and allows them to ride as passengers with professional drivers at racing speeds. The event runs through Sunday. Read More on blufftontoday.com
