If you have yet to set a destination for your fall travel plans, you may want to consider St. Barths. Come October 1, Le Barthélemy hotel will open in the Bay of Grand Cul de Sac along a 600-foot beachfront location that is part of the Nature Reserve of Saint-Barthélemy. Created by designer Sybille de Margerie, its interiors feature natural materials, plenty of light and create a dreamy and understated vibe. The five-star hotel will be comprised of 46 guestrooms and suites, in-room amenities by Hermès, outdoor drop-down screens for privacy and some include plunge pools.
Guests are invited to explore two different dining experiences crafted by Michelin-starred chef Guy Martin. In the mornings at Le Barth, the fare is fresh, light and easy, such as homemade pizzas and stuffed baguettes. Come nighttime the venue transforms into Aux Amis, a more upscale dining affair with island-inspired French cuisine in a casual setting. Served all day, Le Café will be open for coffee while poolside drinks and light snacks can be enjoyed at Le Turquoise bar.
In partnership with La Mer skincare, Le Spa at Le Barthélemy will offer guests a chance to renew their mind and body through holistic healing practices. The open-air atrium includes a blow dry bar, a signature rain shower with essential oils experience hammam, and a 24-hour fitness center. Opening rates begin at around USD $674 a night.
