For Saturday night bar goers, the evening usually comes to a close with one last drink and a stop at a fast food chain or whatever grease-ridden, poorly lit diner is still open at that hour. But now Tempe residents (and nearby college students) have a better option. Beginning in December, Delice, a European bistro, will keep its doors open until 2:30 a.m. on weekends, allowing partiers to snack on strawberry crepes instead of a burrito. Which, truth be told, is a much better way to top off the night.
During morning hours, guests are treated to breakfast options consisting of croissant eggs Benedict, omelets, breakfast sandwiches and French toast, while the lunch menu includes salads, paninis, pastas, crepes and quiche. The late-night menu has yet to be ironed out, but we were told there would be almost exclusively cold dishes—five to six different types of sweet and savory crepes, cold sandwiches including turkey, roast beef and smoked salmon, French pastries and desserts, as well as a variety of juices, coffees and teas.
Beginning in December, the restaurant is open Sunday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
