They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Looks like Scottsdale is sending Las Vegas more than a few flirtatious winks with the debut of their newest venue Maya Day and Nightclub developed by Triyar Entertainment. The Vegas-style club made its introduction this April to Valley residents as the first high-end beach club in the city. Moroccan-style lanterns hang in the entrance in the open-air, two-story foyer as palm trees line the outdoor pool. Similar to Vegas, the club will be open during the day as a beach club with a resort-style pool lined with daybeds, lounges and, of course, some of the best DJs around to keep the party hoppin’.
Maya is the Valley’s second resort-pool venue without an affiliation with a resort. Managing Partner for Triyar Companies, Shawn Yari, conceived Maya in hopes of it serving as an anchor for Yari’s reimagined nightlife district. “This has been a dream for the past five years and it finally will come to a reality, April 24th,” said Yari. “Scottsdale is rapidly becoming one of the premiere entertainment destinations in the country.”
Bathing-suit clad party goers can rent private and VIP cabanas for a more exclusive experience. Cabanas have a $750 food and beverage minimum while day beds require a $400 food and beverage minimum. The 17,600-square-foot patio will house a clubhouse area, billiards, flat screen TVs, and Arizona’s largest LED video screen. Floating in the center of the pool, the stage will play host to live music concerts, fashion shows and esteemed DJs. Grammy award-winner and platinum-selling artist, Calvin Harris who has had numerous No. 1 tracks on U.S. Billboard charts, was the first international DJ to grace the booth; Harris’ appearance was his fourth in Arizona.
Authentic Mexican cuisine like signature tacos, ceviche, and taco salads will be served during the day and will be available for late night snacks in the nightclub. Maya will also be pouring thirst-quenching cocktails and unique frozen beverages like their Beach Ball Tango and Desert Storm slushies, a focal point of the outdoor bar. Did we mention, poolside snacks and drinks will be served by servers in sexy red bikinis?
In the evenings, Maya will keep the party going on a circular dance floor located inside the 9,700-square-foot nightclub. As any elite Vegas patron knows, bottle service is a must, and to make sure guests have this opportunity, the club is lined with two rows of bottle-service booths. Starting at $350, bottle service comes complete with lingerie-attired servers in black bustiers, panties, thigh-highs and garter belts. We’re sold.
As the old saying goes, “What happens in Vegas Scottsdale, stays in…” Well, you get the point. See you poolside.
