The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco completed their renovations this month, unveiling an updated property that capitalized on the best of modern technology and contemporary aesthetics. The hotel, which has been a Nob Hill landmark for over a century, has updated its interiors to be sleek and streamlined, a stark contrast to the building’s historic exterior. The redesign included 336 guest rooms, a new restaurant, lobby and lounge, all finished in a palette of blues, greys and silvers—an inspiration from the city’s foggy reputation. Also drawing from classic men’s tailoring, subtle sartorial influences have been added throughout the Ritz that extends to fabric upholstering and window coverings with a belt detail.
Renovations were led by Hirsch Bedner Associates, the world’s largest hospitality firm that has worked on properties like The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, the Encore Wynn Las Vegas and the Four Seasons Hotel, Beijing in the past.Of course, pictures say much more than words, so check out the lavish new look below.
