French brand Moncler moved into a new boutique space this month in Paris at 7 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and officially opened today. Spread out over six floors, the new 11,200-square-foot flagship store and showroom sits just steps away from the brand’s first store at 5. Designed by the Gilles & Boissier architecture studio, the sales space covers around 918 square feet of the ground floor. The remaining four stories comprise the showroom and offices.
Recalling its design and décor aesthetics of its Milan flagship store, the interiors are dressed in the same carnian grey stone slabs with smoky wood paneling and ceiling beams. To make the cabinets and display stands, black lacquered metal and light glass were used for a sleek modern look. Unique installations (like a polar bear lined entrance) create surprising scenes inside the store, giving it a magical feel.
Holding the main collection for men and women, the new boutique also houses all the maison’s collections including Moncler Gamme Rouge to Moncler Gamme Bleu, Moncler Grenoble for men and women, Moncler Lunettes and accessories.
The official inauguration took place today in front of the international press and the Moncler boss Remo Ruffini. The opening was slated to align with Paris Fashion Week and debuted the brand’s second eyewear collection created in collaboration with Pharrell Williams.
