With the holidays right around the corner, families everywhere are gearing up for the seasons, rifling through battered cookbooks for that handed down recipe for bread pudding from Great Aunt Ester or for those amazing sweet potato orange cups your cousin gave you last year. But if organizing a menu for a small army is creating undue stress for you this season, The InterContinental New York Times Square has a few delicious holiday remedies. For the first time, The InterContinental will be launching Takeaway Turkey Dinners. The $200 dollar meal will feed 8-10 guests and is complete with a 14 pound Heritage Breed, Free Range Turkey and six sides, including everything from mashed potatoes to cran-apple stuffing.
In addition, The InterContinental’s Ca Va Brasserie by Todd English, will host a three-course Thanksgiving feast featuring savory seasonal dishes such as Pumpkin Bisque with Main lobster and cinnamon croutons, Roasted Leg of Lamb with rosemary potatoes, and Cranberry Bread Pudding, topped with orange brulee and crème fraiche ice cream. The Christmas season will provide activities for guests of all ages, with fully catered in-room dinners and a workshop that lets you create your own cookie. A three-course Christmas dinner and Classic Christmas Morning Brunch Buffett will also be available.
Last but not least, round out the holiday season and say goodbye to 2012 with complimentary access to Ca Va’s New Year’s Eve Party and enjoy a pre-fixe menu with a bottle of champagne.
