New Yorkers, not sure where you’re luxury brunching this Sunday? Rub elbows with Charlie Palmer and feast on fresh seafood for a cause at the inaugural Aureole’s Oyster Social, a fundraiser for Citymeals-on-Wheels.
Bubbly by Louis Roederer, Purity Vodka Bloody Marys and Sierra Nevada brews are among the beverages included in the $75 ticket price. Fresh seasonal nibbles will also be making the rounds, and the oysters are “endless” from noon-4 p.m.
If you ever secretly wondered whether you could polish off three dozen on your own, given the chance, this is your time to find out. Sure, it’s a smidge more indulgent than the typical “bottomless” Sunday brunch, but 50% of every ticket goes to charity.
