In a city where budding actors, musicians and entertainment industry hopefuls go to fulfill their lifelong ambitions, it seems appropriate that a hotel called Dream Hollywood would move into the neighborhood. The experiential lifestyle hotel will be the brand’s west coast flagship and is projected to open in Q2 of 2016 between Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards.
Along with 179 guest rooms and suites, the property will boast five nightlife and dining venues with and adjacent to the hotel, and an 11,000-square-foot rooftop with pool. Mixing playful aspects of fantasy and reality, the hotel will merge together ultra-luxury amenities with hyper-chic yet comfortable accommodations and public spaces.
Created by the awarding winning Rockwell Group and featuring Neutra-inspired design, it will draw upon the brand’s philosophy of juxtaposing surrealism with contemporary elements. It will also pay homage to LA’s mid-century modern architecture. The project comes at a great time, as the city itself is undergoing a revitalization to bring in more businesses and tourists by expanding its convention center and metro system.
“Dream Hollywood will undoubtedly set the standard for experience-driven hospitality in Los Angeles,” said General Manager Ayo Akinsete. “Down to the details, Dream Hotels delivers a level of style and energy to the guest experience which is unmatched, and we couldn’t be more excited to be the catalyst of the revival of such a storied city.”
