The first thing that grabs you are the stunning views. The reception building, restaurants and rooms are positioned to take in the jaw-dropping vistas of the blue sea and white sand beach. The resort is in a park-like setting with palm trees, water features and rock-lined walkways passing through the villas. There is also an enormous infinity edge pool which is the perfect place for reading a book or taking in some sun rays.
Fusion Nha Trang has several options of accommodation to choose from. The chic suites are smaller and good for couples and solo travelers. Each villa is positioned to take advantage of the panoramic sea views with floor-to-ceiling windows and yet each are perfectly private as they are surrounded by dunes and vegetation. The furnishings are rich honey-colored teak wood with the king sized bed set on a platform in the sunken bedroom. The bathroom’s centerpiece is a custom-built floating bathtub suspended over a layer of white rocks, along with a rainwater showerhead and sitting area. From the bathroom, there’s a door that opens to an outdoor shower surrounded by lush foliage for an uber romantic touch.
The Grand Villa is a four bedroom suite with a large pool and separate living space. The Spa Suite is designed with a private spa treatment area and plunge pool and is perfect for the wellness-oriented traveler. The Beach Front Pool Villas have incredible views of the ocean and direct beach access, allowing guests to step straight from their villa, across the manicured grass lawn on to the golden sands of Cam Ranh Beach. The villa pool is a large size and perfect for splashing around with a loved one or sunbathing on the wooden deck patio. Another cool feature is the suspended arch hammock as well as an assortment of day beds, lounge chairs, and recliners to choose from. There is also a complete outdoor living space with a sitting area perfect for morning breakfast or a bottle of wine in the evening.
As with any resort that specializes in wellness, the dining experience is excellent. Fresh, their all day dining restaurant, serves delicious Vietnamese and Western dishes. The restaurant is spacious with an open kitchen, and the menu is driven by a healthy-living concept, with ingredients sourced from the local market. The grilled scallops with coconut risotto, pineapple mango chutney, and curry emulsion are absolutely wonderful. Guests can also choose to participate in a special experience called the Alchemist Infusion Dinner which comes with yellow fin tuna with wasabi mash, and the grilled Australian ribeye with green mango salad and shitake pancake.
One of the hotel’s coolest features is their breakfast anytime, anywhere concept where you can have your meal (which is included in your rate at your villa), in the restaurant, or at pretty much anywhere or any time of the day. No need to wake up and get to breakfast before 10 a.m. there, so sleep in, no hurry.
Another unique aspect of the Fusion Resort Nha Trang vacation is the inclusive spa component where guests receive two complimentary spa and wellness treatments each day. The spa has 24 treatment rooms, steam and sauna rooms, fitness equipment and a beauty salon.
