Scenic Cruises is headed to France! Adding a new 12-day Bordeaux River Cruise to its 2015 itineraries, the cruise line will offer seven departures between August and October starting at $5,580 per person. The tour will make stops along Cadillac, Saint-Émilion, Arcachon, Libourne, Médoc, and Cognac, where travelers will have the opportunity to sample brandy at Rémy Martin.
Starting in Paris with a stay in a luxury hotel, guests will then make their way to Bordeaux before embarking on Scenic Diamond, their accommodations for the next several days. Scenic Diamond, considered a five-star floating hotel, features spacious public areas, Mac mini infotainment system enhanced by the ship’s complimentary Wi-Fi and private balconies that can be transformed into indoor lounges.
Next year will also be the first time the brand introduces Scenic Sundowners in which guests will be able to toast the end of the day in a spectacular location such as Saint-Émilion in Bordeaux. While on land, guests can take advantage of excursions found on the Scenic Tailormade handheld GPS guided tour system. The Bordeaux trip also includes a once-in-a-lifetime experience under their Scenic Enrich program. Guests will enjoy a classical concert and private dinner at Château Giscours in the Médoc countryside.
