Grand Velas Los Cabos is set to open in Mexico’s Baja Peninsula this November, and is touting itself as “Beyond All Inclusive, Beyond All Compare.” Among its accommodations, a standout are the six two-level Wellness Suites. The spaces feature a spa concierge, Vitamin C sprinkler and crudité minibar. Or should you need a little extra room, the oversize designer suites boast ocean views, private terraces and plunge pools.
Along with yoga and Pilates classes, guests will be able to cool off at one of the three heated pools with panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez—where whale spotting is all part of the experience. Family programs are available for kids and teens, so mom and dad can get some much-needed alone time. The Grand Velas’ Kids’ Club offers activities like soccer, treasure hunting and cooking classes and the Teens’ Club has karaoke and a dance floor.
The two-level Spa at Grand Velas Los Cabos is where you’ll want to spend much of your stay. It features 20 treatment rooms plus hydrotherapy facilities with dry saunas, cold plunge pools, vitality pools, whirlpools, herbal steam rooms with color-therapy, clay and ice rooms and experience showers. The property will offer a wide variety of fine dining restaurants—or you can opt to stay in your bathrobe for in-suite dining. And of course happy hour or late night adventures are covered with three diverse bars to choose from ranging from the low key Sky Bar and the late night destination Koi Sports Bar and Dancing Lounge.
