Even though the pumpkin spice latte has officially reared its basic head, the holiday season isn’t quite here yet. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be preparing your next vacation rental to Cabo San Lucas. We did some digging and found five villas that you can rent, each one right on the water with amazing views and amenities, from personal chefs to butlers. But because there were so many great options out there, we're going to throw in four more great villas for you to choose from. Whether you like privacy or want to be in the middle of the action, one of these is bound to be your style.
Casa de Karma, Pedregal
The six-bedroom Casa de Karma is pretty much the ultimate party pad. With its hillside Mediterranean flair, the home spans four lots and has large shared outdoor areas that give amazing views of the water and Pedregal. Outside guests will find an Olympic-sized pool with a sunbathing island and swim-up bar, a bocce court, three fire pits and a hot tub. The villa’s interior features natural stone floors, 15-foot vaulted ceilings, retractable glass walls, a chef’s kitchen and a gym. Plus, anyone who stays at Casa de Karma has full access to the nearby Capella Pedregal resort.
Prices start at US$4,500-8,500 per night.
Beachfront Villa 322, Palmilla
As part of the Villas Del Mar community, Beachfront Villa 322 gives you all of the perks that staying at a luxury hotel would—including a butler, housekeeping, a personal chef and access to the resort’s amenities. Overlooking the beach, the six-bedroom rental has apparently seen plenty of celebrities within its walls and while we don’t know which ones, we have no problem picturing the likes of Julia Roberts relaxing here.
Prices start at US$5,000-7,000 per night.
Cielito, Chileno Bay
The best part about the Cielito villa is that it’s a little more isolated than others, allowing you privacy. Tucked away on the rocky shores of the Sea of Cortez, the seven-bedroom villa has 7,000 square feet of living space and a relaxed rustic atmosphere. Without any neighbors looking over your shoulder, you spend as much time as you want outside—which includes a freeform infinity pool and an outdoor dining area right by the water. Plus, the included concierge service can set you up with a private chef if cooking goes against your vacation rules—as it should
Prices start at US$3,400-4,250 per night.
Penasco, Pedregal
Penasco is another one that has a very Mediterranean style. With nine bedrooms and 11 full bathrooms, the huge estate leaves the beach for a 150-foot-high cliffside view of the sea. You can relax in the infinity pool, practice some golf on the putting green, challenge your friends to some shuffleboard, and even host cocktail parties around the outdoor fireplace.
Prices start at US$3,110-5,200 per night.
