There are brunches and then there are epic brunches like the one found at Bokx 109, the onsite restaurant inside the Hotel Indigo. Here, guests can start the day off right ordering a spicy cocktail from the Bloody Mary bar. Served in a tall glass, their signature drink comes full of celery, blue cheese stuffed olives, horseradish, lime, pickles—even pepperoncini and a Slim Jim. The Champagne Industry Brunch event on Super Bowl Sunday was the incredible kickoff to the restaurant’s new brunch menu.

The grilled oysters were fantastic, prepared with crispy pancetta, tomato and fennel pollen before being combined in a buttery panko and chive fondue. The Sesame Tuna Nacho should not be passed up—a heaping portion of fresh chopped tuna arrives atop a spicy bed of Sriracha sour cream and seaweed salad alongside pickled ginger. We loved the Dougie Breakfast Panini, a not-so-traditional, deliciously rich burrito filled with braised short ribs, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, chipotle aioli and smoked gouda.
For lunch lovers, don’t miss the Bokx Decon Burger, which is enormous and topped with aged cheddar, arugula, tomato, bacon and crisp golden fries, served with an addicting truffle ketchup. No desserts are necessary as they finish off this fun experience with a complimentary order of cotton candy.
