A popular activity for tourists in Zimbabwe is shopping for local curios, sculptures, jewellery and artwork, and the markets at Victoria Falls are excellent for unique finds. There are plenty of tacky T-shirts, cheap costume jewellery, and mass-produced curios, but if you''ve got a good eye you could spot a genuine gem of a sculpture. Haggling is common, if not expected, but remember that many people are very poor and rely on craft sales for their livelihood.
