St Petersburg is known for its underground local music scene, much more relaxed and down-to-earth than Moscow''s nightlife. Small, intimate jazz clubs abound down side streets. Bigger venues like Griboedev and the Tunnel Club, both housed in old bomb shelters on Voronezhkaya Street and Zverinskaya Street respectively, also display the city''s relaxed vibe with cheap drinks, cheap entrance fees and little to no face control.
