Luxury Cars: Lamborghini unveiled recently the Sesto Elemento Concept (which means sixth element - and represents the carbon's place on the periodic table). The concept has a total weight of just 999 kilograms (2,202 lb) - including V10 power unit and permanent all-wheel drive. It is powered by a V10 engine delivering 570 hp (found also on the Gallardo Superleggera) and capable to push the car from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.5 seconds, while the top speed is well over 300 km/h (200 mph).
According to the manufacturer, the Sesto Elemento features perfect aerodynamics and every line designed on the car seems to help it. Foe example, the two vertical ribs at the front, for example, improve the stiffness of the component and guide the cooling air directly to the radiator behind them and to the brakes.
