Named for the town they are handcrafted in, Ogden Made bags and accessories are not only good quality, they have a great design aesthetic too. After getting our hands on the Junction City Messenger, we were pretty impressed with the construction and feel, on top of the overall charm of the artisan bag. Each of the Ogden Made products are hand-signed by the creator, giving them that feel-good, locally-made vibe. While many products claim to adhere to superior quality standards, what we really noticed about Ogden Made was in fact the detail of work that went into each element: reinforced zippers, heavy, thick fabrics, exceptionally solid stitching. On top of that, the company offers a warranty that backs up their claim: free lifetime repairs or replacements. They aren't messing around.
The bag we took for a spin has a classic messenger design with a twist, offering two extra pockets in addition to the main compartment and a zippered one on the flap. Tapered just a bit towards the bottom, the bag is a bit more comfortable to wear than the traditionally-squared cut, while still leaving enough room for whatever portable tech you might need to stash inside. Not only does the company make some pretty awesome bags, they dish out some good feels too, as they are passionate about creating jobs in their community and helping to “shape the future of Ogden," a town about 40 miles east of Salt Lake City. If you are on the hunt for some great handmade products that are made in America and have a solid background, check out the folks at Ogden Made. You can tell them we sent you.
