Pharrell Reinterprets the Kartell's Ferruccio Laviani-Designed Bourgie Lamp

Looks like Pharrell can officially add product design to his long resume. To honor the 10th anniversary of Kartell's Ferruccio Laviani-designed Bourgie Lamp, the Italian company enlisted the happy crooner to reimagine the classic design. This is the result.

A white arm holds up the bulb and transparent lampshade that reads "SHADE" in wraparound black text. Like the original, three clear ornate legs balance the entire design. Let's face it, the design isn't exactly attractive and we can't even imagine Pharrell wanting it to adorn his own home. If you do like it though, you can see it exhibited at Kartell's Green Street showroom in New York City's SoHo.

The original Bourgie Lamp sells for $450 and comes in several different colors, like gold and chrome.
