Because Lalique is synonymous with crystal, the Lalique Limited Edition perfumes highlight the company's rich heritage of technical brilliance with the medium. Lalique didn't begin making perfume bottles until late in his life, creating beautiful bottles for luminous friends that included Francois Coty, Houbigant, d'Orsay, Guerlain, Worth and many other major perfume houses.
Today, the same special attention to detail is still used in the Lalique Limited Edition perfumes. The limited edition crystal flacon of the most recently introduced white collection adds a drop of white to the crystal to create a pearly, opal effect, which was popular in the designs of the 1920s. This limited edition was produced for only 25 flacons, each numbered and signed by Lalique Glass Masters, "The Best in France."
