The supermodels are still holding their own when it comes to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. Whether it’s Jourdan Dunn’s regal ball gown or Bella Hadid’s scandalously risqué number, these fashion industry babes are taking over. Dunn and Liu Wen wore similar blue and cream gowns by Ralph & Russo and Giambattista Valli Couture respectively, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked stunning in an Alexandre Vauthier Couture halter neck dress. Hadid may have won the night—dressed in a slinky gown, also by Alexandre Vauthier Couture, her ensemble had a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit that looked stunning on the 19-year-old model. But the long V-neck and up-to-there cut almost resulted in a wardrobe malfunction (and would have had there not been red panties seemingly built into the dress). Unfortunately, Hadid wasn’t the only star with issues on the red carpet. Helen Mirren took a tumble as she walked up the stairs to attend the premiere of The Unknown Girl. Of course she handled it gracefully, and was helped up by several well-dressed gentlemen who were standing nearby.
