Accessories designer Charlotte Olympia has had a busy year: she launched a Charlotte Olympia x Agent Provocateur lingerie capsule collection, partnered with Havaianas to release a line of summer-ready flip flops, collaborated with MAC Cosmetics to design a line of makeup and showcased her first runway collection at London Fashion Week this February. But she isn’t done yet. Today she announced her new activewear collection that she would be releasing this May in part with Bodyism.
“I wanted to design a range that could be worn out and about, or for working out in the gym. I wanted to add a touch of glamour to sportswear so that you can feel dressed up, even when you’re on the go,” the brand’s founder and owner Charlotte Dellal, told WWD. Bodyism Activewear co-founder Nathalie Schyllert agreed with her sentiment, noting that Dellal’s kitschy aesthetic was in line with their philosophy to bring fashionable and fun design to activewear.
The capsule collection will be a 10-piece lineup of ready-to-wear, accessories, sneakers and a gym bag. Leggings in cheetah print, sports bras in lipstick patterns, and apparel and accessories printed with Charlotte Olympia’s iconic cat mascot will round out the line. The collection will be priced from £75 to £295 (approx. USD $109 to $430) and will be available at Harrods in the UK, Shopbop in the US, Stylerunner in Australia, Isetan in Japan and Rubaiyat in Saudi Arabia.
