Our Best Fashion Buys For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It’s October, which officially hails Breast Cancer Awareness month, and with that everything you have ever wanted now comes in a garish, Pepto-Bismol pink, huzzah! If buying a bright pink set of hangers or fuchsia flop flops helps funds go towards prevention and research, then we are all for it. It’s not like we wouldn’t buy everything in pink anyway. We combed through piles of products to find the ones that donate to a worthy charity and deserve a place in your closet—because you don’t really need a pink ribbon whiffle ball.

When BCA month comes around there’s no shortage of plastic totes and canvas bags that are plastered with pink ribbons and awareness slogans. And while those are great for say—reusable grocery bags—the last thing you want to do is walk into work with that on your arm. Coach’s bright magenta East/West Satchel in studded leather is not only office-worthy, but 20% of the purchase price goes straight to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Coach East/West Satchel is available at in-stores, online and in fine department stores worldwide. Priced at $328.

We love pink (what can we say, we’re girly-girls), so now is the perfect time to snag an accessory that will work year-round. This dip-dye Tory Burch silk blend scarf is a great way to incorporate a little color into your wardrobe and feel good about doing it. The jacquard fabric features a graphic pattern of the Tory Burch insignia in a light, ombre pink. 20% of this purchase goes to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation up to a maximum of $30,000. Tory Burch Dip-Dye Scarf is available online and is priced at $185.

When you want to lounge around the house in nothing but your sweatpants, big, one-size-fits-all BCA screen tees are not the way to do it. No one said you can’t be fashionable and charitable simultaneously. And while we’re partial to the pink sweatshirts (maybe it’s just the color of the season), Kings of Cole will be donating 15% of your entire purchase to Play for Pink with the promo code “OCTPINK.” So you can feel good and look great while you're binge-watching Scandal. Kings of Cole loungewear is available online and priced from $64-$374.

One of our favorite lingerie designers, NOE Undergarments, created a pink limited edition of one of their most gorgeous pieces just for BCA month. The Alfie Slip dress is made of 100% silk georgette, with gold hardware clasps and an adjustable back for proper fit. What we love most about this bright slip is it's versatility—layering can make this easy to wear in or out of the house. 20% of the proceeds from the blossom-colored slip dress will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Noe Undergarments Alfie Slipdress is available online and priced at $275.

While we can think of quite a few glittery pink watches and jewelry pieces that are created for BCA month none of them are really—fashionable. We want something we can wear every day, so we love this black and fuchsia watch from Movado. It’s water resistant up to 30 meters with Swiss quartz movement, black TR90 composite and stainless steel. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation pink ribbon is engraved on the back and $50 of the purchase goes directly to the charity. Movado's Movado Bold watch is available online and in stores worldwide. Priced at $450.

You’re going to buy skincare one way or another, so why not grab it now while your purchase can help benefit the fight against breast cancer? Estee Lauder has partnered with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and is offering four different BCA cosmetics. Our favorite is the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II. 20% of the retail price of this limited edition bottle will be donated, plus it comes with the cutest charm bracelet. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II is available online and in department stores worldwide. Priced at $92.
