Oprah Winfrey is rich, powerful, famous and successful, so why would she need to ask for viewers to tune into her OWN Network on Twitter? On Sunday, Oprah tweeted: "Every 1 who can please turn to OWN especially if u have a Neilsen box," according to E! Online. Naturally this got retweeted numerous times and caused several angry tweeters to reply, calling it "desperate" and say she was "begging for viewers." The posting was deleted from Oprah's account but not before Neilsen got wind of the situation, considering it's a no-no for network heads and those with their names in the network title to solicit Neilsen subscribers. The company is currently looking into the ordeal, so we'll just have to stay tuned! To the developing story, not necessarily to the OWN Network, of course.
