The summer is one of the best times of year to plan a road trip, so you will definitely want a luxury car suitable for many hours on the road. It has to be stylish, incredibly comfortable, and multi-purpose. It just so happens that the Infiniti QX80 fits the bill.
We recently test drove the roomy SUV, which can accommodate up to eight passengers and thanks to its powerful 400hp, 5.6-liter V8 engine, it can tow up to 8,500 pounds. Some of the features that make this model stand out are the standard Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection system (allowing you to see 360-degrees around the vehicle), the Bose 13-speaker Premium Audio System, and the 15-speaker Cabin Surround Sound System with digital 5.1 decoding.
The 2015 model launched last year and was completely redesigned to include exterior and interior upgrades. The interior features three rows of leather heated seats, a heated steering wheel, a power sliding tinted glass one-touch moon roof, and a tri-zone automatic temperature control system. We also love the occupant classification sensors that allow you to adjust the seat perfectly to each driver’s preferred setting and the 22-inch, 14-spoke forged alloy wheels with all-season tires.
Options include a driver’s assistance package that includes blind spot warning, back-up collision intervention, intelligent brake assist with forward emergency braking, and predictive forward collision warning. The theater package includes dual 7-inch monitors, heated second row seats, and remote tip-up second row seats for easy third row entry/exit. The deluxe technology package is also worth noting because it includes climate-controlled front seats and lane departure warning.
Though there are plenty of perks to get excited about when cruising around in the Infiniti QX80, the above additions definitely stand out among the rest.
