It’s hard to go wrong with a stay at a Four Seasons property. Known for its elegant accommodations, top-notch service and laundry list of accolades, the brand encompasses everything we love about luxury hotels. So when you add Bali into the mix, you’re already pretty much guaranteeing a great vacation.
Recently, Four Seasons Bali at Jimbaran Bay renovated its Premier and Deluxe villas and we’re seriously in love with the updated looks. The villas’ new refresher offers a real sense of place and provides a warmer, softer aesthetic through is use of natural materials. Created by Indonesian design firm Jaya International, the residences reflect the timeless beauty of Balinese architecture and offer flexible living spaces that enhance the ocean and sunset views.
Each abode went through a structural expansion which allowed for a 50 percent increase in size within every residence. When the all-villa resort opened in 1993, it was the world’s first property to feature plunge pools in every guestroom. Now those pools offer even more space following their 32-percent increase (except for Deluxe Villas), which means more room for lounging all afternoon. Outdoors guests will also find new thatch-roof bales with roll-in access to the infinity-edged pool.
Inside the bedrooms, the mattresses were updated to customizable toppers that boast heat-absorption and motion-separation design. Rooms also come with luxury linens, chic bathrooms with a free-standing vintage bathtub (swoon), custom furnishings and picturesque views. The Family Premier Villas now feature an extra children’s room with daybed and trundle bed.
So, okay, Four Seasons, we’re pretty sure we would have visited the resort prior to these renovations but now that you’re (clearly) flirting with us, you’ve sealed the deal. Be right back, going to shop for new swimsuits.
