via guardian.co.uk Look out Hilton, there's an upstart from Copenhagen that'll give you a run for your money... just as soon as they find space for a second room. The Central Cafe may not have 5-star accomodations, but it is a cozy little place infused with the scent of fresh coffee and the sort of novelty that the big names in the business could never hope to offer.
With just five indoor seats, the Central Café is Copenhagen's smallest coffee shop. And now it offers an equally cosy place to rest your head, with the opening of the city's smallest hotel: one beautifully furnished room above the café. Bringing new meaning to the word "boutique", the hotel will offer guests an intimate experience in Frederiksberg, the hippest neighbourhood in Copenhagen. Attention to detail is the key, with fresh flowers, fruit and wine in the room, an ultra-comfy bed and a good dash of Danish design flair. It costs £170 to stay here for a night, which includes breakfast at the fabulous Granola Café, a couple of doors along.
