Image from Otalab If you don't know who Yotsuba & Danboard are, you're probably not a Tokyo anime fan, but that doesn't mean you can't join in the festivities as they kick off in the anime capitol of the world. Due to start at the very end of August and carry on well into September, it may well be your chance to learn what all this anime craze is about!
It is officially announced today that Parco Museum in Shibuya, Tokyo, will hold "Yotsuba & Danboard The Exhibition" from August 31 to September 16 in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Kiyohiko Azuma's popular comedy manga series Youtsuba&!. The official site for the exhibition is also opened today. Yotsuba&! has been serialized in the monthly magazine Dengeki Daioh since March 2003 and twelve tankobon volumes have been released. It has sold more than 10 million copies in Japan, and has become one of the most successful manga series.
The visitors of the exhibition can see manga original arts, production materials, and sketches by Azuma.
