Photo via news.az Bringing a touch of the middle east to the heart of Vienna, the Vienna Museum of History has launched an impressive exhibition of Azerbaijani art, history and culture. Dubbed “Fly to Baku”, the exhibition delves into the illustrious synthesis of ancient antiquity and modern expression.
The exhibition was organized as part of the joint project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Baku magazine and the Azerbaijani embassy in Austria.
According to AzerTac, the event was attended by vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
Speaking at the event, the chief of the exhibition management department of the Vienna Museum of Art History, Christian Hoelz voiced satisfaction with the opening of the exhibition in Vienna. He said that the museum that stores the valuable works from the history of Austria is happy to host the exhibition ‘Fly to Baku’.
