As odd as this may seem a divorce fair actually does exist and it's coming to Sydney. The purpose of the fair is to inform people who are thinking about divorce or people who are already in the middle of one. Not everyone knows the process and this is a great way to get informed.

Executive director Maria Franks said in addition to lawyers, the fair — which will feature information booths and sessions for people who are thinking about a divorce or already in the middle of one — will include some other resource people whose advice may be helpful.

“When you split up, you pretty much know that somewhere down the road you are going to have to have a lawyer to get some advice but you are also for quite a lot of things dealing with the court system, so how does that work,” she said on Tuesday.
