Put on by a partnership between the City of Johannesburg's Convention Bureau, the Gauteng Provincial Department, and the South African National Convention, Jozi has been praised not only as valuable, but as a model for conventions worldwide. Striving for pan-African prosperity and the utilization of the budding markets there, the convention brought together the cream of the crop in a move to facilitate commerce.

The continent’s flagship expo – put together by the South African National Convention Bureau (SANCB) in partnership with the Gauteng Provincial Department and the City of Johannesburg’s Convention Bureau – attracted thousands of delegates from around the world. They included many dignitaries and more than 350 international, regional and local buyers, who converged into the Sandton Convention Centre for this not-to-be-missed business exhibition.

Run under the theme “Advancing Africa Together,” Meetings Africa 2013 proved a valuable business platform that brought together the very best of the country’s products, services, experts and facilities needed to stage an international meeting and business event of any size and stature.
