rt66central.com During the summer Albuquerque, New Mexico plays host to their annual Route 66 Summer Festival during the month of July, providing local cultural music and dance performances by area artists. The festival will be located in the Nob Hill area from Central Avenue to Girard and Washington Avenue. There will be many different activities taking place during this festival. This is a family friendly event making it a great way to spend the day with your loved ones.
Some of the activities that will be taking place during this festival will be: car shows, art exhibits, kid’s events; tours of Nob Hill, and a terrific sidewalk sale. Along with these many events you will be able to refresh yourself at the many local beer in wine events. This festival is considered Albuquerque’s “premier” festival of the year.
There will be three live music stages to enjoy all day long. The classic car show will certainly be something that you won’t want to miss. There’ll be a food court available for all visitors to enjoy featuring some of the areas local cultural dishes. You will be able to sit down and relax in the beer garden while sipping on a cold brew when you need to take a break from all the festivities.
