The staff is happy to offer personal whiskey tasting experiences that are both educational and delicious. In addition, the award-winning bar staff have created some of the most intriguing and creative “bespoke cocktails” that please both the eye and the palate.
A short ten-minute stroll to the Manor gates delivers guests into the village of Adare. Founded in the 13thcentury on the banks of the River Maigue, the main street is a collection of beautiful stone buildings and thatched roof cottages surrounding a lovely village park. Most of the cottages are now restaurants, fashion boutiques and arts and crafts shops. For history buffs, it’s a short stroll to Desmond Castle, a 13thcentury Norman fortress chock full of stories. Visitors to the village will also find plenty of pubs in which to relax and enjoy local musicians during the evening hours.
