You may remember back in 2011 when Sir Richard Branson’s Great House on Necker Island burned down. The fire, which caused around 20 people to be displaced, included Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet and her family. Two years later we’re welcoming back the private retreat and couldn’t be more excited. The Necker Island team has worked tirelessly to unveil the new house and from the looks of it, it is better than ever. Over the last 18 months, they have been capturing the transformation every 15 minutes to display the development. Upon its completion, the images were woven together into a video that was publicly released last week. Be among the first to watch Branson’s Great House evolve.

Exclusive rates for the Great House and island are $60,000 nightly and will house 30 guests in eight bedrooms and six Bali houses. While the island is typically only hired for private occasions, during ‘Celebration Weeks,’ there are opportunities to book an individual room.
