After walking around Singapore's first contemporary design museum in Asia, don't forget to check out the museum shop. Here, one of the largest collections of award-winning products can be perused and purchased - those with red labels have won the illustrious red dot design award, and those with grey have simply won over the shopkeeper to earn a place here. The space in which it is located is a work of art in its own right. Where there once was a completely open area is now an glass-enclosed urban garden with pillars that resemble the bark on trees and green mesh shelves to represent leaves and shrubs.
