An international master plan design competition was held in 2006 to bring the best of the best to the helm of this project that would execute NParks’ vision of creating a ‘City in a Garden.’ This spectacular park opened to the public in October 2011 and has continued to launch several different attractions including the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Supertree Grove, Heritage Gardens, Dragonfly & Kingfisher Lakes, Bay East Garden and World of Plants. Guests can take guided walking tours, Garden Cruiser audio tours, self-guided tours, grab food and drinks at any of the nine restaurants and cafes, and even host an unforgettable affair at the unique event venues
