From January 17-19, 2014, some of the world’s most promising emerging artists will have their work on display at Singapore’s PARKROYAL on Pickering. The hotel has partnered with Art Apart Fair for the third edition of the acclaimed exhibition which will take place on the entire 14th level, even going inside the 2,000-square-foot Presidential Suite and 33 guest rooms.
Over 100 pieces will be displayed under the gallery themes: “The Artists’ Garden” and “The Destruction of the Readymade Everyday.” Artists Zorikto Dorzhiew, Hyun Su Park and Haroku Cho will be participating, along with 150 others from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Russia, Germany, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore.
“It is a real pleasure for PARKROYAL on Pickering to partner with Art Apart Fair for the second time and hold an event that is rapidly becoming one of the most influential art events in Singapore,” said Hans Heijligers, Area Vice President Operations, Singapore Region at Pan Pacific Hotels Group. “It makes us proud to have the opportunity to showcase the best artworks of talented emerging artists from all over the world and give them the chance to network with like-minded artists, gallery owners and curators.”
Art Apart Fair 2014 will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and hopes to draw in more than the 3,000 visitors and buyers it saw last year. This event, along with Art Week Singapore, Singapore Biennale, and the Art Stage has the potential to collectively bring in more than 100,000 people.
