Residents of Scottsdale’s Silverleaf community are probably going to be pretty pleased to learn that the massive unfinished mansion on Lot 1882 has finally found a new owner. The compound-like estate has sat untouched since 2011, when construction ceased due to a lawsuit against the former owner, and now that MSL Holdings has acquired it for the crazy low price of just $5 million, it can finally reach the finishing line.
When tech entrepreneur Jason Hope got the idea over five years ago to build his dream estate, he immediately got to work. Close to its original design plans, the 25,000-square-foot mansion features seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, the IMAX theater and bowling alley, a pool with a grotto that “rivals the world's best five-star resorts” and is accessed by crossing a canyon via bridge.
According to the NY Daily News, MSL Holdings have plans to finish the residence and then rent it out. Which means we’ll be coming up with a lot of reasons to visit Scottsdale in the future.
