A new $2 billion Ritz-Carlton community in Paradise Valley was just approved by the town council and though it won’t even break ground until the spring, we already can’t wait to see what the brand does with the 122-acre plot of land. According to AZ Big Media, the plan includes a 352,000-square-foot hotel with 200 rooms, retail opportunities, 94 villas up to 3,000 square feet and 45 single-family homes that will be up to 6,000 square feet.
Just 11 minutes from Scottsdale, the site is owned by Five Star Development and once complete in late 2018, the hotel will apparently feature North America’s largest pool by being over 400 feet long. There will also be a 20,000-square-foot spa, a health and fitness center, restaurants and an adjoining mixed-use space for retail called The Palmeraie.
“We are thrilled to finally bring the world’s best hotel brand to Paradise Valley and to create a luxury real estate offering that will be among the most sophisticated and sought-after in North America,” said Jerry Ayoub, president of Five Star Development. Like other Ritz-Carlton Residences, onsite homeowners will reap all the benefits of staying at the luxury hotel, like concierge services, housekeeping, spa access and in-residence dining.
