February is the 'Month of Love' at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay resort featuring a variety of awaken your senses experiences.
The only oceanfront resort in the San Francisco Bay Area is offering dreamy romantic enticements to warm things up during the month of February. Throughout the resort fragrant red floral displays by local Half Moon Bay florist Flowers by Edgar dazzle one's sight and smell.
Once you enter your Terrace Fire-Pit guest room, Valentine-inspired welcome amenities await including a bottle of chilled champagne and strawberries. Later in the evening, a rose petal turndown sets the mood for a romantic evening.
During the entire length of stay, guests receive spa amenity access for two. The Spa is also offering a special 'Month of Love' Couple’s Massage that begins with a choice of essential oils and light to moderate pressure massage. Aromatic rose petals heighten the full sensory experience.
Afterwards, guests receive a glass of sparkling wine and chocolate-covered strawberries to enjoy at the co-ed whirlpool. Price for the 80-minute treatment is $600 per couple, exclusive of gratuity.
Guests receive a $500 food and beverage credit that may be used throughout their stay. Order one of their special 'Month of Love' cocktails or blush-colored 'Garden of Love' savory mocktail. Made with a combination of Roma Tomato, Jasmine tea and strawberry, it's served in a champagne flute and garnished with dehydrated berries.
The Rosa d’Amore is a specialty cocktail that incorporates Grey Goose, Rooh Afza, and Lemoncello in a martini glass. Garnished with heart-shaped bitters, it's available in the fine dining Navio, as well as The Conservatory and The Ocean Terrace.
Those staying at the resort on February 10, 11 and 14 are invited to enjoy a special seven-course tasting menu prepared by Chef de Cuisine Francisco Simón highlighting the very best of the season. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore an exclusively Rosé wine list, featuring Old and New World still and sparkling wines. The price is $249 USD per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
Take in the coastal views during the day at Navio. The Valentine's Day weekend brunch special is on Februrary 11 and February 12, offering unlimited selections from the seasonally inspired menu featuring fresh seafood, elevated brunch favorites, a selection of prime cuts, farmer’s market inspired salads, desserts and more. Guests can also enjoy the exclusive Rosé Mimosa package for $249 USD per person.
Besides a fire pit on your terrace patio, guests also gather around flickering fires on The Ocean Terrace to take in the crisp marine air and admire breathtaking sunsets and ocean views. Elegant bites, wines and cocktails are offered, as well as s'mores for roasting in the evening.
