You can ride for miles or stop and park your bike at one of the viewing decks and take the wood stairs down to the beach.
Families staying at the Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach will want to visit nearby LEGOLAND California Resort before the end of the year to see snowfall, thousands of twinkling lights and enjoy holiday treats. Countdown to Christmas is from Nov. 20 through January 2, 2022, with live entertainment, festive décor and a 30-feet tall LEGO Christmas tree adorned with more than 400 LEGO ornaments.
LEGO models of Santa and his reindeer are in Fun Town and families can have their photo taken with their favorite festive LEGO costume characters, including Santa, a Toy Soldier and the LEGO Gingerbread Man. The annual Kids’ New Year’s Eve party is on Dec. 31 and starts at 6 p.m., for a countdown to end the year and spectacular fireworks display welcoming in 2022.
