Named after its location near lifeguard tower 23 on Pacific Beach in San Diego, Tower23 Hotel is the ideal wedding destination for beach lovers, surfers and those who couldn't have their dream destination wedding in Hawaii or on the beach in Mexico.
Downes made sure each guest room and suite offers a peaceful view and outdoor patio or balcony. The Sky Pad rooms offer Tower deck and Zen water garden views, while the Surf Pad has rooms that have either a partial ocean or spectacular 180-degree oceanfront vistas.
Couples eager to say 'I Do' in 2020 through the spring of 2021, Tower23 Hotel is offering an intimate wedding package with a ceremony overlooking the Pacific Ocean for up to 40 guests.
The wedding package includes a Sky Pad for two nights, a welcome amenity, and later a midnight snack.
As the bride and groom dress and prepare for their personal ceremony, the staff will install white drapes, chairs, tabletop, and speaker with mic for the big event. Afterward, everyone receives a champagne toast and may take photos, while the finishing touches are made in the Wine Room for a sit-down reception.
The newly married couple and their guests will find personalized place cards and gold mercury votive candles on the tables before a three-course plated dinner is presented. A private bartender will pour drinks throughout the party. Each person will receive two drinks (beer, wine and standard cocktails) with dinner in the wedding package.
After the wedding, guests staying at the hotel have a choice of two queen-sized beds or one king Tempur-Pedic bed with luxury linens and down comforters. There is a spacious walk-in shower, and two luxury blue robes in the closet, as well as an in-room personal safe.
Guests receive free wi-fi, a mini-refrigerator, and use of complimentary cruiser bicycles, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and beach toys.
The wedding couple can request an upgrade to one of the suites for an additional fee on top of the package, based on availability. The Sanctuary Suite, Sweet Suite and Serenity Suite all have comfortable bedding, and a 'Chromatherapy' floating whirlpool soaking tub, and a separate step-in shower.
In the sitting area, there is a pull-out queen sleeper sofa, small wet bar and sliding door leading out to a patio or balcony overlooking the Tower Deck and partial ocean view.
For those seeking an ocean view suite, the two-bedroom Sweet Suite offers a floating King-sized bed in the middle of one of the rooms, with a private balcony and a separate living area with an additional private balcony looking out to the sand, surfers and the Pacific Ocean. The spacious bathroom offers a walk-in shower and a large Jacuzzi whirlpool tub.
The dates and times to reserve this special wedding package are based on availability. This special price is not available on holidays and there are some blackout days. The inclusive price is $7,758.00 when booked in 2020 for a weekend in 2020 - March 2021. The package does not include a 22% service charge and 7.75% sales tax.
