L’Auberge Del Mar’s yearly after party following Opening Day at the Races has become the place to see and be seen. Attended by the city’s most fashionable locals, this year’s event will take place on July 15 from 5 p.m. to midnight.
Poolside cabanas and loungers are available for rent, and California-inspired culinary stations will be scattered around the resort’s Sunset and Pacific terraces. Spinning the beats on the pool deck will be DJ FishFonics and DJ Gabe Vega on the pool deck and entertainment will include go-go dancers and jockey-themed entertainment. Tickets are $229 a person and $250 at the door.
To continue the summer racing celebrations, the hotel is also offering a special package from July 14-September 5. The Win, Place, Show Package Available During Summer Racing Season includes accommodations for two, a signature M’ulep cocktail for two, complimentary transportation to and from the track, $150 Spa L’Auberge credit and complimentary hotel parking. From July 15 to September 5, the spa will also host special race-inspired treatments such as the Starting Gate Massage, the Run Burgundy Foot Revival and Winner’s Glow Hydrating Facial. The package is priced at $474 a night and spa treatments begin at $75 a person.
