Luxury Real Estate: There is a new high-rise luxury address in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square that draws from the old, the new, and the contemporary of the historical rich city—10 Rittenhouse Square. The recently opened upscale property adds a new 33-story redbrick building to the skyline of the City of Brotherly Love, while breathing new life into three of the historic neighborhood’s surrounding landmark buildings, including the Rittenhouse Club Building. The design of the development is the work of the NY-based architectural company owned by the highly acclaimed Robert A.M. Stern.
At their disposal, the residents of “10” have a concierge staff, a doorman 24/7, a garage with valet parking and a chauffeur-driven limo service onsite. They also have direct access to Barneys New York CO-OP and the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa. Both giant luxury brands occupy two floors of space in the refurbished Rittenhouse Club Building. The Rittenhouse Club Building, which is on Walnut Street, is one of two entrances for 10 Rittenhouse Square. The other entrance lobby is on 18th Street. The ornate lobbies are transatlantic classic with Italian-marble and stone floors and walls of Venetian plaster.
The complex has six 10,000 square-foot penthouses that start at $12 million. Other single-family residences offered include one-, two-, and three-bedroom deluxe condominiums. The units feature floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces. Ceiling in most units are 10 to 12 feet. Kitchens feature hardwood floors and granite countertops with major appliances by Sub Zero and Miele.
The amenities of the building include a three-lane indoor pool, a fitness center, a restaurant, a business center, and a shared roof garden on the premises as well as access to prominent retailers and restaurants through the Rittenhouse Club Building.
