The department store, which made its home in Philadelphia four months ago, has allotted a permanent, in-store space for the accessory reseller. Specializing in authentic vintage items, LXR&CO offers a finely-curated selection of gently-used accessories—most from big names like Chanel, Prada, Fendi, Gucci, Dior and Louis Vuitton.
While the new boutique will undoubtedly help to draw an affluent crowd to the department store, consumers will also be benefiting with ease of access to second-hand luxury accessories. Of course, some fashion lovers are not a fan of resale goods—we get it, nothing beats a shiny new Birkin. But personally, we prefer to see the hidden appeal. Here you can snatch up one-of a kind bags or watches that haven’t been in production for years—making it all the more likely you’ll be the only one to have it.
LXR&CO will be offering bags, wallets, watches, scarves, jewelry and small leather goods at 30 to 90 percent off. Shoppers can find pieces on display in-store, and can special order more exclusive pieces (including those coveted Birkins).
