Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square will be getting a new 12-story boutique hotel on 17th Street that's planned for 2016. According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, the upcoming $125 million building will be a Hudson hotel by Morgans Hotel Group and will be built in place of the currently existing parking garage that holds Little Pete's diner. With construction slated to start next spring, the boutique hotel will have 300 rooms, 40 executive suites, and offer several luxury amenities. Aside from two stories of retail stores planned for the ground floor, the building may also include a restaurant on the penthouse level, which will give diners views of the surrounding city.
